Job Description
You will be joining as a Senior risk lead in our Embedded Risk Team within Pune. The Risk and Control Team ensures the Bank's control priorities are effectively implemented across Investment Banking Technology. Our mission is to reduce the organisation's technology risk exposure by implementing key bank controls, ensuring appropriate and timely resolution of audit issues, and participating in the Bank's control design implementations. As we develop our capability, your role will be to support the global management in establishing a high-quality team in India and supporting the management of the technology centre in identifying and monitoring risks and driving remediation.

Your key responsibilities
You will be responsible for
• Working with the IB Tech Centre Head to develop and build our risk culture in line with the principles of the Technology Engineering Manifesto
• Building a team of high quality risk managers who will drive control improvements within India which mitigate our risks
• Working with the CIO for IB Tech APAC to drive an improved risk posture for applications within his domain.
• Partner closely with technology stakeholders and business stakeholders in the development and execution of the bank risk framework
• Responsible for internal and external audits within the area and will also review lifecycle event documentation. Provide oversight of all external regulatory examinations
• Developing a risk-based testing methodology, determining proper sampling processes, and designing technical tests to ensure control effectiveness
• Work with the control teams to identify and resolve potential issues in control design. Suggest effectiveness metrics, ensure control design includes proper evidence, and provide input to the design and effectiveness of centrally provided tooling
