About This Opportunity
We are now looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager (SSM) to manage our regional sourcing projects with CU and drive a part of our Global Site portfolio, to strengthen Ericsson’s competitive position by maximizing supplier value, proactively managing business risks and contributing to the creation of value for the Customer.
About the Products: Site Products is all products related to a telecom site/tower, from the Tower itself to RF-cables, power cables, various installation material and mounting material, energy systems and Antennas at the top of the Tower.
What You Will Do
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
• Lead, prepare & implement the RFx process
• Lead Procurement projects
• Evaluate and select suppliers
• Conduct supplier negotiation
• Manage supplier relationships
• Ensure supplier agreement implementation
• Represent Site Products sourcing and be the main interface towards Southern Europe Customer Units and projects
• Contribute to supplier and category strategy development
• Drive and implement category strategies
• Contribute to the long-term business
Key Responsibilities:
You will work closely with customer and global team in development projects across several sub-categories as well as the Sourcing Category Managers within Energy Systems. As the Strategic Sourcing Manager you are accountable for evaluating, qualifying and selecting suppliers for the external purchase and licensing of all assigned Site Product projects.
Team Collaboration: You will be the Site Product sourcing interface in Customer Unit and manage many sourcing projects yourself, but you will also route major projects to colleagues in and outside your own team who brings expertise in specific categories (Site Products consists of +20 categories and many sub-categories).
Performance Metrics
Your performance will be measured against the following metrics:
• Cost reduction
• Contractual payment days
• Supplier Management, Contract Compliance
• Stakeholder satisfaction
• Fulfillment of Responsible Sourcing Programs E.g., Audit Programs or Environmental Programs, Process Compliance.
What You’ll Bring
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
• Academic Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Several years of strategic sourcing experience
• Excellent Sourcing Practice, Process & Strategy Knowledge
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Ideally several years of Supply chain experience
• Supply chain knowledge
• Experience in various business models
• Strong negotiation skills
• Commercial Acumen & Skills
• Financial Acumen & Skills
• Change & Improvement Management Skills
• Local Laws & Regulations Knowledge
• A speak up mindset
