The Amazon Fresh Grocery team is excited to welcome an Strategic Supply Chain Manager (SSCM) to our dynamic supply chain team, based in Chicago IL, Nashville TN, Seattle WA, New York City, Santa Monica or Arlington VA.

As an SSCM within Amazon Fresh Grocery, you'll take on a critical role at the forefront of developing supply chain plans with our vendors, overseeing their execution, and delivering against our service level and cost to serve goals. Leading internal and external cross-functional initiatives will be second nature as you drive improvements to enhance customer experience and overall cost structures. Your leadership will extend across both Online and In-Store channels.
To be successful in this role, you should feel comfortable operating in a supply chain where using data is at the core of every decision. Through building scalable systems and processes, we aim to drive our business growth in the grocery space. Key job responsibilities
A successful Strategic Supply Chain Manager will:
Manage supply planning and inventory health through: product availability metrics, inventory planning, vendor operational management (OTIF, cost to serve), demand forecast translation, and waste reduction.
Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives to improve customer experience and overall cost structure delivered by the supply chain
Perform complex business analysis to identify business opportunities to improve performance to drive revenue and profitability
Partner with internal teams to develop tools, automation, and process improvements that affect purchasing and vendor management workflows within the supply chain

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of with Excel experience
4+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience
Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience
Experience with SQL
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of the principles of statistical inventory control

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
