Strategic Workforce Planning Lead

We are looking for an experienced professional in strategic workforce planning (SWP) to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this pivotal role, you will develop and lead YBS’s SWP capability and planning, playing a crucial part in our transformation and change agenda to ensure alignment with future business needs.

About the role

You will be the practice lead for SWP so as part of this role you will need to establish a best in class SWP center of excellence that is aligned to YBS’s strategic goals, making sure we have the right tools in place to ensure the right skills, capacity and capabilities are available.

You will lead on the future skills capacity and capability project, identifying future skills needs and using data driven insights to inform decisions on the future workforce structure and skills requirements.

You’ll champion YBS’s transition towards being a skills-based organisation and partner with the Talent Acquisition and Learning teams to devise resourcing strategies in response to SWP actions.

Finally, you will develop workforce analytics, forecasting and benchmarking tools to provide data driven insights and support the identification and implementation of workforce planning and skills capability.

Please note that this is a 12 month fixed term contract role.

About you

You need to be a thought leader with a proven track record of designing and implementing work force planning strategies, with an understanding of SWP tools and methodologies.

You will need to be able to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels and be able to manage high profile projects.

Experience in future skills capability planning within an organization would be beneficial, as this will be a significant aspect of the role.
