About the Role

We’re looking for a curious and commercially-minded Strategy and M&A Senior Analyst to join our team in Melbourne.

This is a role where you’ll get stuck into the detail—supporting the development and execution of group and business unit strategies, diving deep into market and competitor analysis, and helping to identify and evaluate M&A and partnership opportunities that move the dial. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, helping to shape strategic initiatives and communicate our direction to both internal and external audiences.

From financial modelling and valuation to scenario planning and strategic risk management, you’ll be right at the centre of the action. You’ll also play a key role in preparing board and executive papers, bringing clarity and insight to complex decisions. This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety, and you’ll be part of a team that’s collaborative, fast-paced and focused on delivering real outcomes.

About you

You bring a solid foundation in strategy, M&A or business development—ideally from consulting, investment banking or the financial services industry. You’re confident with financial modelling and valuation, and you know how to turn data into insight. You’ve got a sharp eye for market and competitive trends, and you’re comfortable navigating ambiguity to find the right path forward.

You’re a structured thinker with strong analytical skills, and you know your way around PowerPoint and Excel. You understand how to link strategic and customer objectives to financial outcomes, and you’re comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, including ExCo and Board level. Most importantly, you’re a great communicator—able to tell a compelling story and bring others along with you.

If this sounds like you and you want to join a team that want to make a difference, we would love to hear from you!
