This is a paid internship with the possibility of conversion to a full time role with excellent enumerations.
Responsibility
As a strategy & content development intern, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
• Create content for ‘A Dialogue’s’ institutional channels including webpage and social media as well as for posters, brochures, factsheets, and infographics
• Create relevant case studies and case stories
• Contribute to ‘A Dialogue’ action plan.
• Write, edit, proofread, deliver and manage content on ‘A Dialogue’ activities and projects for various audiences and channels to achieve key communication objectives
• Coordinate with Business Development, Strategic Partnerships and Philanthropy, and global teams to streamline proposal development, conceptualize, coordinate and present at events.
• Undertake landscape assessments to seek, sense and analyze trends in the funding environment and develop strategy documents for each vertical to achieve desired objectives.
• Conduct secondary research and landscape analysis for material contributing to the development of concept notes and proposals.
• Support the team in coordinating the proposal development process
• Support the team in preparing for meetings with potential donors, including conducting background research on meeting participants and organization focus
Required Skills
• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree at a reputed graduate school. Fresh graduates in management or public health, environmental sciences, ethnobotanical studies, cultural studies, history are encouraged to apply. An inclination towards environment studies, conservation, biodiversity is appreciated.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a complex environment.
• Basic research and analytical skills, including the ability to proactively identify opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure
• Excellent in written and spoken
• Basic understanding of public relations principles and practices
About ‘A DIALOGUE’
‘A Dialogue’ is a multidisciplinary Biodesign research, with focus on innovation, and community empowerment social enterprise. ‘A Dialogue’ focuses on the conservation of forgotten traditional ecological knowledge using in-depth immersive research involving local custodians to find unique insights related to local biodiversity. ‘A Dialogue’ works with local custodians (tribals, communities, farmers) to add design & business intelligence to the forgotten insights and explore to design implementation models with them. We focus on rejuvenating human- nature connect focusing on forgotten food, forgotten knowledge, local biodiversity, local traditional ecological knowledge empowering local youth, women & smallholder farmers.
