JMC Aviation are working with a global leader in the aviation industry and are looking to engage with experienced Structural Technicians for a contract-to-hire position.
This position is based in Wichita, KS and offers an excellent hourly rate, per diem, etc. Duties within this role are as follows:
Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and maintain customer aircraft.
Remove and install aircraft components as necessary.
Fabricate and modify structural components on aircraft parts as needed.
Perform minor structural repairs on composite materials, both attached and detached.
Support complex structural repairs, both on and off the aircraft.
Assist with the repair of aircraft components.
Handle mechanical and electrical removals and installations as needed.
The ideal candidate would have the following –
Typically possess 5 years of experience in structural sheet metal repair, modification, or equivalent related experience.
Completed a sheet metal Aircraft Technician program or equivalent education.
Capable of interpreting and working with mechanical engineering drawings.
Own a basic set of hand tools and demonstrate the ability to manage and control tool inventory.
Willing and able to work unscheduled overtime, including weekends and holidays.
