Student/ Summer/ Toronto/ Full-time/ Finance/ Compliance
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated summer student to assist with data entry and provide support to our Managed Supervision team in their daily activities. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting while developing valuable administrative skills. You will develop an understanding of the necessary documentation needed to uphold and manage a client account in accordance with regulatory standards.

What You Will Do:
Update and maintain New Account updates in the Portfolio system through the creation and modification of client portfolios;
Ensure accounts and portfolios are in-line with policies established in our Investment Policy Statement. Identify any discrepancies with existing portfolios;
On-going monitoring of any outstanding issues within the Portfolio System; includes resolving orphan accounts, removal of inactive and closed accounts, and perform changes of advisor or advisor codes;
Assist in other assigned tasks, including compiling data information report for testing and comparison and updating existing portfolio manager information on records;
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure workflow efficiency.
Education, Experience and Skills:
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution or high school (if applicable);
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry;
Eagerness to learn and a willingness to be coached;
Excellent organizational and communication skills;
Ability to work independently while seamlessly fitting into a team dynamic;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
