Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Student Counselor to join our team in Wakad, Pune. The Student Counselor will provide guidance and support to students, helping them navigate academic, personal, and social challenges. This role requires a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and a deep understanding of counseling techniques and principles. Immediate joiners are preferred to ensure timely support for students.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide counselling services to students, individually or in group settings, to address academic, personal, and social concerns.
2. Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs, concerns, and goals.
3. Develop personalized counseling plans for students based on their individual requirements.
4. Support students in developing strategies to manage stress, anxiety, and other emotional difficulties.
5. Assist students in setting academic and career goals and creating action plans to achieve them.
6. Conduct workshops and presentations on topics related to mental health, study skills, time management, and other relevant subjects.
7. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
8. Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions and student progress.
+. Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in counseling and student support services.
10. Act as a resource person for faculty and staff, providing guidance on student behavioral concerns and interventions.
11. Participate in professional development activities and attend relevant conferences or workshops to enhance counseling skills.
12. Assist in crisis intervention and provide immediate support to students in emergency situations.
Requirements:
1. Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field.
2. Proven experience in counseling or related roles, preferably in an educational setting.
3. Deep understanding of counseling techniques, theories, and ethics.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish trust and rapport with students.
5. Empathetic and compassionate nature, with the ability to provide non-judgmental support to students.
6. Knowledge of developmental issues and challenges faced by students.
7. Familiarity with assessment tools and techniques for evaluating student needs and progress.
8. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
+. Strong organizational and time management skills to handle a caseload of students effectively.
10. Knowledge of local resources and referral networks for additional student support.
11. Fluency in English and proficiency in Hindi would be an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent
Salary: ₹30,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
