Position Summary

The Office of the Chancellor at the University of Denver is currently seeking a part-time position to support the chancellor's outreach to students and student organizations. This part-time position is a non-benefited, 12-month, limited-term role that begins in July 2026.

The Student Engagement Liaison, Office of the Chancellor will be chiefly responsible for identifying ways and opportunities for the chancellor to engage with various student organizations and leaders, stay in touch with student groups, and actively advise the chancellor on student perspectives and trends. Additionally, the student engagement liaison will support the chancellor or members of their cabinet as requested, including active engagement with strategic initiatives. The student engagement liaison will report to the chief of staff and work closely with members of the Chancellor's Office team. The student engagement liaison must have an interest in higher education and support institutional initiatives.

This is a non-benefited position not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year.

Essential Functions

Serve as liaison with student community
Stay informed regarding emerging issues on campus and student priorities.
Assist with identifying ways to engage with students more broadly.
Work closely with the senior manager of executive communications on mapping & outreach regarding opportunities for the Chancellor to engage with student groups across campus.
Assist senior manager of executive communications with ideation and capturing content for the chancellor’s social media accounts.
Staff student events/meetings (take notes of key issues addressed, track any follow-up)
Assist with gathering agendas, necessary information, etc.
Assist with any logistics.
Assist with research on an ongoing basis.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from the University of Denver.
Work Schedule

Part-Time, 12-month, limited-term role.

Hourly Range

The hourly range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00.
