Full job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Student Facilitator to be part of our team at Caboolture Private Hospital on a permanent part-time basis - 32 hours fortnight.
About the role
As the Undergraduate Clinical Facilitator, you will provide clinical education, supervision, and support to nursing students undertaking clinical placement in the Hospital from approved tertiary institutions. Working in collaboration with Nurse Unit Managers, trained Preceptors and Educators, to provide a high standard of support and clinical teaching and assessment in accordance with the requirements and provisions of the Ramsay undergraduate program.
About you
To be successful you will have experience as a senior Registered Nurse, be an organised and efficient professional with advanced skills in nursing assessment and highly developed clinical problem-solving skills. You will be a positive role model with a natural ability to mentor and support staff with an innovative approach to education delivery. You have a passion for patient care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay’s core values.
Relevant nursing registration with AHPRA
Minimum five (5) years’ post registration experience in an acute hospital setting
Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment will be preferred.
Post Graduate Certificate or equivalent in Nursing Education or willing to commence
Completion of Preceptorship Program highly desirable
Previous experience in an education/preceptor role advantageous
Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently where required
Ability to plan and coordinate groups of students across various year levels
Strong understanding of basic computer skills including the Microsoft Office Suite.
Remuneration
$54.72PH + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Caboolture Private is a Preferred – Tier 1 Department of Veterans Affairs accredited hospital which allows Veterans to have immediate access to the facilities without, in most cases, the need for prior approval.
This hospital has 43 beds, 3 fully equipped operating theatres, a 12 chair Day Procedure Unit and a comfortable day oncology unit. The Hospital is collocated with Caboolture Public Hospital.
