Now Hiring: In-Person Private Tutors (Grades K–12) – Sherwood Park, Ardrossan and Fort Saskatchewan
Tutor Teach is currently seeking passionate, reliable, and engaging in-person private tutors to support students in Sherwood Park, Ardrossan and Fort Saskatchewan across Grades K–12. Our tutors play a vital role in helping students build confidence, strengthen skills, and reach their academic goals.
Position Overview:
Tutors will work one-on-one or in small groups with students, providing personalized academic support aligned with Alberta curriculum outcomes. Sessions take place in-person at student homes, schools, or community locations.
Responsibilities
Deliver individualized, curriculum-aligned tutoring sessions
Create engaging, student-centred learning experiences
Adapt teaching strategies to different learning styles
Build strong rapport with students and families
Track progress and provide feedback to families and Tutor Teach staff
Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to support each learner
Maintain professionalism and clear communication
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in or completed post-secondary education (Education, Science, Arts, Kin, Commerce, Business, Engineering, etc. considered an asset)
Strong academic background in one or more subject areas
Experience working with children or youth (tutoring, teaching, coaching, mentoring, etc.)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable transportation for in-person sessions
Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain one)
