Job Description
At Acknowledge Education, our students are at the heart of everything we do. As a Student Progress Officer, you’ll play a key role in helping students stay on track with their studies and achieve their goals. You’ll work directly with students, academic staff, and student services teams to identify challenges early, provide meaningful support, and ensure every student has the best chance of success.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor student progress and identify those at risk of falling behind
Conduct intervention meetings, developing tailored action plans with students
Provide advice on course variations and enrolment adjustments
Keep accurate, compliant records to support regulatory requirements across VET and Higher Education
Collaborate with academic, wellbeing, and student services staff to ensure a coordinated approach
Escalate complex cases to your Team Leader and contribute to continuous improvement of our processes
Qualifications
You’ll thrive in this role if you are organised, proactive, and passionate about student success. To be effective, you’ll bring:
Experience in student support, case management, or academic administration
Understanding of course progress monitoring, interventions, and compliance in VET or Higher Education
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students from diverse backgrounds
Confidence in managing a busy caseload and meeting deadlines
Proficiency in student management systems and Microsoft Office
A professional and compassionate approach when handling sensitive matters
