About us
Student and Registry Services is one of the larger Professional Services divisions at UCL, providing essential services to UCL’s 50,000 students, 160,000 applicants and for supporting academic departments and administrative staff in delivering a high-quality student experience.
UCL Student Support and Wellbeing Services (SSWS) provides information, advice and welfare support for all registered students, including delivery of related student events.
About the role
This role is available to internal candidates ONLY.
The postholder will be a key member of the Specialist Advice & Casework Service team. Reporting to the Student Support and Wellbeing Casework Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless end-to-end support pathways for students who access services. You will be responsible for coordinating with academic departments and Professional Services to support individual students, facilitating the appropriate exchange of information, particularly regarding their safety and wellbeing. The work you undertake will contribute to ensuring that student support and wellbeing services are responsive, reliable, and delivered effectively on behalf of UCL.

About you
We are looking for a positive and highly motivated individual who is passionate about delivering high quality, professional support services to students. To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate a proven ability to be proactive, non-judgmental, capable of fostering positive working relationships both within and outside of UCL, and professionally skilled in effectively communicating in public settings. The successful applicant must be self-reflective and emotionally resilient, as they will be responsible for managing complex and sensitive casework.
