OneSchool Global is seeking a dynamic and creative Student Support Assistant (Special Education Assistant) on our Vancouver Campus (located in Langley). The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting students who have additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the local team to address the students' needs and support inclusive instruction.
Maintain accurate records of the student's progress and activities.
Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
B.C. Teaching Certificate preferred
Experience working with ASD individuals
Experience working with individuals with diverse needs
Familiarity with augmented communication devices is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and transferring.
Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting the student's educational and personal development.
History of our School:
OneSchool North America, founded in 2005, is a school system of excellence, comprised of 36 private schools located across Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean.
