Job Description: Studio Operator
Report to: Head of Online Business
Location: Mumbai
About the role:
We are seeking a responsible and technically skilled Studio Operator to manage day-to-day studio operations, including setup, recording, and basic technical support. The role requires coordination with faculty, presenters, or production teams to ensure smooth studio functioning and high-quality output.
Role and Responsibilities:
· Operate and manage studio equipment such as cameras, microphones, lights, and audio systems.
· Set up studio for video/audio recordings, live sessions, and shoots.
· Ensure proper sound, lighting, and camera angles before and during recording.
· Monitor recordings and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
· Handle file management, storage, and backup of recorded content.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio.
· Coordinate with content creators, faculty, or presenters for scheduling and setup.
· Ensure studio equipment is handled safely and report any technical issues.
· Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities for the Role:
· Basic knowledge of studio equipment and recording processes.
· Familiarity with audio and video recording tools.
· Ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues.
· Good coordination and communication skills.
· Attention to detail and time management.
· Willingness to work flexible hours, if required.
Education and Experience:
· 0–3 years of experience as a Studio Operator or similar role.
· Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may apply.
· Experience in educational, broadcasting, or digital content studios
· Basic knowledge of video editing software is an added advantage.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
