Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Subcontractor/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of various construction projects, assisting with site preparation, material handling, and executing specific trade tasks under supervision. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute directly to the successful completion of projects across diverse construction environments. Responsibilities
Assist with site setup, including unloading materials and organizing tools and equipment
Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
Support skilled trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, plumbing, electrical work, and finishing trades
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to assist with project tasks
Perform demolition, concrete forming, concrete finishing, tile laying, and other trade-specific duties as assigned
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and inspecting tools and equipment regularly
Collaborate with team members on installation tasks like door hanging, window framing, drywall installation, stucco application, caulking, trim carpentry, glass installation, cabinet installation, flooring installation, masonry work, and restoration projects
Assist with fabrication and material preparation for various construction activities
Support the operation of heavy machinery when qualified and authorized
Qualifications
Prior experience in construction site environments or related fields preferred but not required
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, ladders, and basic construction equipment
Ability to read blueprints or schematics is a plus
Knowledge of safety procedures on construction sites is highly desirable
Basic understanding of construction trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, plumbing or electrical work preferred
Strong work ethic with a focus on quality and safety standards
Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively within a team environment
