Seeking an experienced Substation Technician to support the installation, maintenance, testing, and commissioning of substation equipment across network and infrastructure projects.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
9-day fortnight l Day Shift
Start ASAP
OT available
KEY RESPONSILITIES:
Installation, maintenance, and repair of substation plant and equipment
Testing, commissioning, and fault finding of electrical systems
Working safely in high‑voltage environments in line with procedures and standards
Interpreting technical drawings, work instructions, and schematics
Completing required documentation and reporting
Supporting planned works and emergency response activities as required
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualified Technician - Cert III in Electrotechnology or similar
Previous experience working in substations or high‑voltage environments
Relevant trade qualification or technical background
White Card
Strong safety focus and ability to work as part of a team
Drivers License
