Responsibilities
• Follow individual schedule as provided by Director.
• Light Housekeeping in classrooms and offices as scheduled
• Assist Cook in preparation of meals if needed.
• Replace paper products in classrooms & offices when needed
• Maintain kitchen and pantry in neat and orderly manner.
• Make local food purchases in needed.
• Wash dishes and utensils according to sanitary practices.
• Attend meetings, Staff Development workshops/training and special events.
• Keep kitchen equipment in good order, request repairs if needed.
• Maintain good working relationship with supervisor and co-workers.
• Work with director in completing annual evaluation of self.
• Complete all written documentation in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
• Experience in working with food preparation and general cleaning
• NYC Food Handler’s Certificate
Work Schedule: Per Diem, Monday - Friday, Flexible schedule, up to 35 hours per week
