Job Summary:
Little Heartprints Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Substitute Teacher to join our Early Childhood School team. As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young learners. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of students while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
Execute lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher.
Create a positive and engaging learning environment for early childhood students.
Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration.
Implement classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and orderly learning environment.
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to maintain continuity in the learning process.
Provide feedback to the regular classroom teacher regarding student progress and behavior.
Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification or substitute teaching license.
Experience working with early childhood students preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and teaching styles.
Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
Requirements:
Completed background check, Child care certification
Willingness to follow and implement school policies and procedures.
Schedule:
This is an on-call position with a flexible schedule based on the needs of the school. Substitute teachers may be called upon with short notice.
