Position: Suite Nurse Supervisor
Location: London W6
Job Type: Full-Time
Brief description of what we are looking for – Suite nurse supervisor
• Is this a fully supernumerary mon-fri role? – it will be predominantly a Mon -Fri role, however expected to do an occasional weekend shift as part of their management/supervisory role to meet those staff members who may work only weekends. They do not need to work on the floor but must be qualified registered nurses.
• Salary – circa 55-60k, 42.5hrs/wk
• Where will they be based – it's a supervisory/compliance role mainly and expected to manage 2 x suites of about 65-70 residents
• How many nurses and carers will they be over seeing? – 10-12 nurses and around 40 care staffs
• What experience are you looking for?- must have some experience in clinical and management role in a nursing home.
Night supervisor
• Is this a supernumerary role ( not included in the nursing numbers) ? – A supernumerary/supervisory/managerial role for the nights. May need to step in to work on the floor in case of a staff crisis which very occasionally happens.
• Will they oversee the whole home at night or will they be working alongside another clinical senior? – they will be overseeing the whole home at night. Not considering to budget another charge nurse for the nights for now. However there will be 1 x nurse in each of the 5 suites at night.
• How many hours per week? – 36-48hrs/wk. Shifts need to be flexible each week, since there is only one supervisor, don't want staff to feel a pattern or being supervised only on fixed days.
• Rate of pay? Paid breaks? – breaks are paid. 12hr shifts. Rate will be circa £55k
• How many carers and nurses are there at night time? – 5 x nurses + 22-24 x HCAs
