Summer 2026 is going to be a blockbuster, so why not spend it with us making movies!

A summer of action, adventure, suspense and a lot of comedy await you at Film Camp in a Box. Join us on the red carpet as you help mentor young filmmakers between the ages of 8 - 14 in either movie making, stop motion animation or music video production. We are currently seeking 'Out of the Box Mentors' who are passionate about movie making, technology and engaging the imagination and creativity of young people in a safe, welcoming, fast paced environment. Flexibility, creative thinking, risk taking and always being a step ahead are superpowers we are looking to welcome to our crew this summer. Your mission, if you choose to accept it (well we both need to accept it)... will be to engage our youngest filmmakers and creative thinkers in the entire movie making process. You will work with your own crew to develop story lines, effectively use the equipment to tell the story and engage them in the magic behind editing. Must haves include;

An understanding of Mac based applications including iMovie,and Final Cut Pro, experience telling digital stories and a passion for mentoring young minds in a fast paced, low drama, high action environment. Workshops take place at the University of Calgary, MRU, or STS (OKOTOKS) Reliable transportation to and from the camp location is a must.

A Must have summer experience for anyone in education, recreation, media, film or high school grads looking for their AHA! moment on the red carpet. Free popcorn, cool shirts and awesome film crew members will make your summer bigger and better than a Christopher Nolan movie!!!
