Summer Student Opportunity- Marketing and Administrative Assistant
Location: Kensington, Calgary
Type: 12 week of full-time employment

Our successful insurance office is seeking an energetic and hard working summer intern to join their winning team for the role of Marketing and Administrative Assistant - Desjardins Agent Team Member. We seek a self-starting individual in helping our business grow through value-based conversations and remarkable customer experience. Our office is a dynamic boutique insurance office in the inner city community of Kensington, Calgary. We love serving our community through providing excellent customer service and personalized insurance products. We are committed to giving back to our community in Calgary through out-reach programs. We strive to be our community's one stop shop for insurance.
Responsibilities will include the following, but not limited to:
Answer phone calls and greet clients.
Assist with leads developments, including making outbound marketing calls.
Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service.
Work with the Agent and other Team Members to establish and meet marketing goals.
Assist with general administrative tasks in the office.
Assist with community outreach programs.
Requirements:
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Canva, and various AI platforms
Proficiency of different social media platforms
A miniumium of 1 year of undergraduate academic study is a must
Proactive in problem solving
Dedicated to customer service
Ability to multi-task
Prior cold calling experience is an asset
