Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated summer student with experience in CAD or similar design software to assist with updating and revising residential floor plans. This is a flexible, casual part-time role ideal for a student looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting.
Key Responsibilities
Edit and revise floor plans based on customer requests
Make adjustments such as moving walls, adding/removing cabinets, modifying windows, etc.
Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing files
Support the team with document updates during periods of high customer volume
Qualifications
Experience with CAD software (or similar design programs)
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and implement revisions accurately
Good organizational and time management skills
No prior experience in construction or home building required (training will be provided)
Work Schedule
In-office work for a few hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays
Opportunity to transition to one remote workday
Potential for increased hours based on workload and performance
