Duties and Responsibilities
• Monitor and ensure proper handling of month end close end procedures
• Overview intercompany accounting procedures on a daily basis
• Support team members and client on all intercompany related queries and concerns
• Monitor intercompany open items and liaise with concerned parties (AP/AR/GL) and clear off.
• Serve as a contact point intercompany accounting, managing intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Identifying and eliminating non value added activities or process steps
• Develop and modify SOP, process manuals
• Preparation/review FMEA
• Identifying project improvements
• Ownership of KPI delivery / meeting SLA’s
• Preparation of monthly dashboard reports
• Maintain daily trackers, conduct operational calls with business contacts and monthly performance review meetings with team.
• Handle a team of 10 members
Desired Candidate Profile
• Commerce graduate with minimum 8 years’ experience in Intercompany accounting
• Experience in AP/AR will be an added advantage
• Experience in setting up validation check list for all process and ensure to review on a continuous basis for completeness and accuracy
• Expert in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
• Expertise in SAP (minimum 3 years’ experience)
• Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS
• Strong domain expertise, analytical skill and logical reasoning with good leadership capabilities with the ability to handle pressure in working environment of strict deadline.
• Proven skills to identify and implement continuous improvement project
• Familiar with lean sigma tools
• Very good Verbal and Written English Skills
• Willing to work on different time zones depending on business requirements, including night shifts
• Experience in handling a team of 5 members
• Prefer to work from office
