Purpose : To create 100% guest
To create 100% guest
satisfaction for guests by supervising the rooms cleaning process.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Supervises
Room Attendants in the cleaning of guest rooms as requested by the Executive
Verifies
that all rooms have been cleaned by reviewing the list of rooms cleaned by each
Supervises
the completion of short notice requests for rooms
Prepares
requests for replacement of furniture, fixtures etc and follows up to ensure
completion of requests as directed
Inspects all
check-out / stay over rooms for adherence of Brand’s standards
Monitors
quality of rooms by conducting and documenting inspections of cleaned rooms
Prioritises
special cleaning requests (VIP rooms check-in)
Ensures
security of keys and pagers
Ensure Room
Attendants use the right technique when lifting, bending and using chemicals.
Checks floor
linen closets daily for cleanliness, adequate supplies and linen.
Assures trolleys
are properly stored and vacuum cleaners are emptied at the end of each day
Assures
proper handling of lost and found articles
Ensures
safety by assuring that all linen chutes are kept locked at all times
Provides employees with the information needed to perform their job
Orients
employees to the department and hotel and provides on-the-job training on job
Provides
feedback to the employee and Department Manager on the employee’s performance
of job responsibilities
Ensures that
linen closets are maintained as appropriate
Verifies
that trolleys are stored properly, and closets are locked
Assists in
inventories as requested
Creates 100%
guest satisfaction by providing the Yes I Can! experience through performance
that demonstrates the standards of, genuine hospitality and exceeding guest
Gives
personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when
providing guest service
Listens,
apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving
Provides Yes
I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis
Assumes the
responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best
judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction
Performs
other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine
Adheres to
Hotel policies and procedures
Follows
safety and security rules and procedures
Keeps
immediate Supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual
matters of significance.
Performs all
duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with
established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objective of
Maintains a
favourable working relationship with all other hotel employees to foster and
promote a co-operative and harmonious working environment.
At all times
projects a favourable image of the Hotel to the public.
Minimum one
year in a supervisory housekeeping position preferred
Able to
collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers to ensure
Ability to
speak and read in English and (input required language)
a variable schedule
