About The Role

We are looking for a Supervisor to lead a team of 12 process operators within our Carbon Products Department. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic leader looking to grow their leadership capability or an experienced leader seeking a new challenge in a different operational environment.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading, organising, developing and motivating the team to safely achieve shift targets

Providing visible and tangible safety leadership and embedding a strong safety culture

Driving improvement across Health and Safety fundamentals including pre‑starts, hazard identification, Critical Risk Management (CRM), leadership in the field and incident investigation

Coaching team members on safety expectations and standards of work

Managing team performance using Rio Tinto HR systems and consequence management guidelines

About You

Strong communication skills with the ability to have courageous conversations

Ability to multitask and prioritise work effectively

Collaborative leadership style with a desire to work across teams

Understanding of operational environments with a willingness to learn
