Department of Defense Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC), and Security Asset Protection Professional Certification (SAPPC) conferrals are required within 2 years of the established employee EOD or initial assignment date to this position in accordance with DOD 3305.13-M, DoD Security Accreditation and Certification and AFI 36-2645, Security Professional Certification and Development

Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this position is to exercise 1st level supervisory and position management responsibilities over subordinate employees within the Software Directorate
Directs work activities through subordinates with responsibility for maintaining a current knowledge and guiding subordinate employees to provide advice, accountability, and expertise on a continuous basis
Serves as the technical authority and subject matter expert (SME) in conducting the enterprise security program, protecting against espionage, terrorism, and threats of unauthorized disclosure and/or compromise of information or material considered vital to the diverse unit mission, national defense or national security
The Security and Intelligence Operations Branch provides security and intelligence operations support across multidisciplinary security functions such as Physical Security, Personnel Security, Information Security, Industrial Security, Operations Security, Communications Security, Anti-terrorism, and Force Protection for Special Access Programs (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs
The branch also provides tailored all-source intelligence analysis and production in support of software development and sustainment
