The Global Supplier Services (GSS) organization brings together Category Sourcing, Third Party Oversight, Procurement Operations, Accounts Payable, Supplier Relationship Management, Supplier Diversity, and Travel Services into one team. This group of more than 1000 employees (in 16 countries) manages the source-to-pay processes for JPMorgan Chase in a manner that mitigates supplier-related risks, enhances supplier performance and manages supplier expenses, while providing the firm an optimal customer experience.

The Sourcing & Procurement function works proactively with the line of business to develop category strategies that optimally leverage JPMorgan Chase's firm-wide buying power, supply market innovations and manage third party risks. The team identifies capable and diverse suppliers, leads the competitive sourcing process and contract negotiation and ensures that the contracted goods and services can be obtained by our employees in an efficient, risk managed, and cost-effective manner globally.
The Supplier Relationship Management 'SRM' function, which is embedded in the Sourcing & Procurement function, partners with sourcing counterparts and all lines of business to ensure that JPMC is realizing maximum value from supplier relationships - going beyond Price, Risk, and Performance protocol. This includes the management of a firm wide program to strategically manage and govern these important supplier relationships, especially when there is interest and partnership with JPMorgan Chase's front office stakeholders within the Corporate and Investment Bank, Commercial Bank, Asset Management or Consumer Bank. SRM helps coordinate activities and opportunities around these supplier relationships when these companies are also clients of the bank, to ensure they are being managed with high touch, and with utmost professionalism, to help distinguish the brand of JPMorgan Chase, and to potentially broaden these holistic "balance of trade" relationships.
General Responsibilities
Support the team partnering with both sourcing and client coverage bankers to lift our front office relationship management activities; help them through deal pipeline reports along with regular activity updates, data entry, along with lookups in the several systems that the team uses like Ariba, Accounts Payable Systems, front office CRM system etc.
Amplify our reporting output and highlight output/benefit delivered from our supplier relationship engagement, focused supplier performance like cost, performance, risk remediation, innovation, etc.
Help advance and mature our strategic supplier relationship management activities vis-à-vis our Strategic "Gold" Supplier program - focused on things like supplier diversity, sustainability, or other key firmwide imperatives that are cascaded to our key supply chain relationships. Manage the assigned book of work, log the output, and track the outcome
Work with the SRM team members partnering with client banking coverage teams and provide support by creating supplier relationship summaries, preparing front office relationship engagement presentations, and overall communication about key relationships
Track and maintain key messaging and status of key supplier/ client relationships via tools like sharepoint and other "CRM like" tools
Research, data mine, data manipulate and connect important data elements and "KPIs" when coming from disparate data systems
Publish and help track/manage recurring reports and presentations on key suppliers, clients and categories
Help support an emerging focus area around Enterprise Supplier Management aka Vendor Management - going deep on a core group of relationships to help strengthen the strategic connectivity of select key relationships.
Help build and deploy new tools and capabilities to support SRM's strategic vision
QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of relevant industry experience, ideally coupled with good understanding of data mining, sourcing and operations processes
Experience in indirect procurement categories is preferred
Knowledge of procurement systems (i.e. Ariba, SAP, etc.) and/or prior experience in data extraction and reporting from multiple sources (systems and manual)
Advanced expertise in MS Excel, Share-point and Power Point (basic acumen and capabilities will not be sufficient for this role)
Experience in Tableau, Alteryx, or other data technology tools that will help our manipulation and visualization needs
Microsoft Access experience (or equivalent tool) will be helpful - to support complex queries, and data mapping when needed
Must be a confident personality - possessing good inter-personal skills and intellect to gain the respect of demanding stakeholders
Effective written and oral communication skills - as well as superior ability to produce high quality data intensive reports
Must have a collaborative and participative working style. Professionalism, sensitivity, discretion and sound experience in developing executive presentations and reports
Able to operate in a complex, global and federated environment
Strong problem solving skills - experience in applying project management style of working
Good ability to proof read, format presentations for top level executive consumption
Organized and structured working approach
