This role suits a professional with strong analytical capabilities, a solid understanding of supply chain principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Experience in fast-paced commercial or industrial environments will be highly regarded.

- Develop, implement, and monitor supply chain strategies, policies, and operational plans to ensure the effective purchasing, storage, and distribution of goods
- Prepare and maintain stock management plans to sustain optimal inventory levels while minimising holding costs and reducing waste
- Monitor and review inventory systems and storage solutions to ensure supply requirements are consistently met and stock levels remain aligned with demand forecasts
- Operate and maintain recording systems that track the movement of supplies and finished goods, ensuring timely re-ordering and replenishment at optimal intervals
- Support or lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favourable terms across quality, cost, and delivery, ensuring ongoing supplier performance is reviewed and documented
- Liaise with internal departments including procurement, logistics, sales, and finance, as well as external customers and freight providers, to coordinate outward goods and associated transportation requirements
- Oversee the accurate recording of purchase, storage, and distribution transactions, ensuring data integrity across all supply chain systems
- Produce regular reports and dashboards on supply chain performance, presenting findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders and management
- Contribute to demand planning and forecasting activities to support production scheduling and inventory optimisation
- Assist in the supervision and coordination of warehouse or distribution staff activities where required, providing guidance and monitoring performance against established KPIs
- Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain to enhance efficiency, compliance, and service delivery outcomes

## Required Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in a supply chain, inventory, logistics, or procurement analyst role
- Proficiency in supply chain management systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP platforms) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Sound understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across departments and with external stakeholders
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data recording, reporting, and process documentation
- Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced working environment
- Knowledge of relevant Australian regulatory and compliance requirements relating to supply chain and logistics operations
