Job Description:
• Manage order follow-up activities with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any issues or delays that may arise.
• Work with suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure that the company is getting the best possible prices.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure that the company has sufficient stock to meet demand.
• Coordinate and monitor transportation activities, including shipment scheduling, tracking, and documentation.
• Liaise with clearing agents and customs officials to ensure smooth customs clearance and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Analyse supply chain data and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures, including clear and forward processes.
• Report to senior management on supply chain performance.
• Support the Supply Chain Manager in various tasks and projects as require.
Skills: -
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management.
• Proficiency in managing supply chain management software like ERP.
• Strong knowledge in spreadsheets like MS Excel (Power query knowledge will be added advantage).
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles and practices
