Required Experience & Knowledge:
Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Renewable Energy, or a related field
Experience: 58 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics, with a preference for experience in the solar energy sector
Industry Background: Preference for candidates with experience in solar energy, renewable energy, manufacturing, or infrastructure industries
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the end-to-end supply chain process, focusing on the procurement, inventory management, logistics, and delivery of materials and equipment for solar energy projects
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers in the solar energy industry to ensure timely delivery of materials such as panels, inverters, and storage systems
Develop and implement supply chain strategies tailored to the solar energy market, focusing on cost reduction and efficiency improvements
Oversee demand forecasting, inventory control, and order management processes, particularly for solar energy systems and related components
Collaborate closely with the Sales and Purchase teams to align solar supply chain operations with business objectives and project timelines
Monitor and manage supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contracts and service level agreements specific to the solar industry
Identify and resolve supply chain disruptions or issues in the solar energy supply chain, ensuring business continuity and project success
Prepare and present regular reports on solar supply chain performance to the GM for strategic decision-making
Skills Needed:
Strong understanding of solar energy supply chain principles, including logistics, procurement, and inventory management for renewable energy systems
Proficiency in supply chain management software, ERP systems, and Excel
Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills, with an emphasis on the solar energy sector
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, particularly in solar energy supply chain contexts
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure, especially in project-based environments
