Job Description
As a Supply Chain Project Officer , you will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of procurement and supply chain projects that enable business growth and successful contract mobilisations. Reporting to the Supply Chain Projects Manager, this role provides hands‑on project support across non‑BAU supply chain initiatives, allowing category teams and project leaders to focus on strategic and operational priorities.
You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to help deliver commercial, compliant, and well‑coordinated supply chain outcomes aligned to new client requirements, operational expansion, and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Support the planning, coordination, and tracking of supply chain and procurement projects related to bids, mobilisations, and improvement initiatives
Coordinate inputs across category managers, operations, finance, legal, HSQE, and site teams
Assist with supplier engagement, readiness, and continuity of supply during new and transitioning contract mobilisations
Support procurement and supply chain input into bids and new business opportunities, including data gathering and supplier information
Track timelines to support disciplined project delivery
Assist with bid cost models, pricing inputs, and commercial analysis
Support cross‑category sourcing initiatives and continuous improvement projects
Help embed Indigenous and local content objectives into sourcing and project activities
Provide timely reporting on project progress, commercial outcomes, and value delivered
Qualifications & Experience
Tertiary qualifications in business, supply chain, procurement, project management, or a related discipline (highly desirable)
Experience in project support, project officer, supply chain, procurement, or operations role
Exposure to corporate or operational environments with multiple stakeholders
Experience in hospitality, facilities management, or remote services environments is advantageous
Key Skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Practical understanding of procurement and supply chain processes
Strong attention to detail with a delivery‑focused mindset
Confident communicator with strong verbal and written skills
Ability to work collaboratively across cross‑functional teams
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and basic project tracking tools
