About the role
As the lifeblood of our supply chain excellence, we're seeking an insightful Demand Planner to join our vibrant Reckitt team. You will have the significant responsibility of crafting accurate demand forecasts within a bustling large market, ensuring our products meet the hands of our consumers efficiently. Your role bridges the gap between sales surges, marketing campaigns, and our dedicated supply and manufacturing teams by translating complex data into action. We're looking for someone who thrives on collaboration, embraces challenges, and communicates with clarity and conviction.
Your responsibilities
Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to create, monitor, and revise product forecasts, striving for precision and continual enhancement.
Maintain optimum customer service levels by effectively coordinating with production facilities and managing daily forecasts.
Guide the Sales & Operations Planning (S & OP) process through comprehensive sales meetings and team support.
Analyse sales trends and promotional impacts to adjust forecasts and recommend actions.
Manage in-transit and safety stock levels while overseeing overall inventory management.
Provide insightful analysis and partner with sales and marketing to react promptly to emerging challenges.
The experience we're looking for
Proven experience analysing complex data and identifying solutions to variances.
A history of building strong relationships and communicating effectively across all business functions.
A track record of managing workloads effectively and prioritising tasks.
Prior roles involving demand / supply planning and managing intricate supply chains.
Proficiency with demand planning software, complemented by sound judgement for alignment processes.
A collaborative nature that influences and persuades cross-functional teams.
