Reporting into the Head of Technology Operations, your key responsibilities will include:
Proactively improve and enhance desktop and application services reliability and efficiency
Responsible for all levels 1-2 ticket resolution for desktop and server operating systems
Perform tasks as outlined within operational management processes and procedures
Respond as required to incidents and service requests for all IT&T supported systems within defined SLAs
Responsible for proactive day to day management of desktop platforms and systems which relate to IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, BaaS
Responding to, and be proactive towards monitoring systems
Maintain an up-to-date document library for the enterprise policy, procedures and system documentation
Prepare reports for the Infrastructure leadership team as required
Participate in on call support roster and be available to work outside business hours, as required
As the successful candidate, you will possess the following skills / experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent is preferred
Minimum 2 years’ support experience
Experience in handling IT incidents, service requests and change requests
Work in a team and independently
Drafting reports and communicating to stakeholders at a non-technical level
Proficiency working on front and back end systems
Experience working in a dynamic fast paced environment and delivery of robust solutions
Quick thinker and ability to co-ordinate and deliver responsible
Experience in supporting IT infrastructure within a business of up to 300 PC’s
Clear experience and understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and related roles (DNS, DHCP, ADFS, CA, etc.)
Experience administering Office 365
Experience with using and troubleshooting Microsoft Office suite
Understanding of Windows Server and Client products, Windows 7 and above, Windows 2008 R2 and above.
Basic understanding of a range of Microsoft Back Office products (MS SQL Server & MS Exchange, SCCM, SCSM, SCSA, Skye for business, SCOM)
Basic experience with SOE and Patch management
Basic experience with Scripting and PowerShell skill
