Responsibilities:
• Trade Processing: Execute and confirm trades accurately and efficiently across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and currencies.
• Reconciliation: Conduct daily reconciliations of trading activity, positions, and cash balances to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Settlements: Manage trade settlements and resolve any discrepancies or failed trades in a timely manner. Coordinate with counterparties, custodians, and clearinghouses as necessary.
• Risk Management: Monitor trading limits and exposure levels. Identify and escalate potential risk issues to management.
• System Maintenance: Assist with the maintenance and configuration of trading systems, including trade capture, order management, and risk management platforms.
• Client Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new clients, including account setup, documentation review, and compliance checks.
• Client Support: Provide support to clients regarding trading-related inquiries, account statements, trade confirmations, and other operational matters.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies governing trading operations, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• Previous experience in trading operations or middle office support within the financial industry.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, trading products, and trade lifecycle processes.
• Proficiency in trade processing systems and trading platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, FIX protocol).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced trading environment.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to trading operations.
