The Role Responsibilities
Job Role
This position is open for SRE support who can able to handle the BC-3; BC-4 application and must have very good knowledge in SQL-PLSQL / Datastage / BI Tools / Python to handle business queries within the application functionality.
Strategy
Should be aware of banks group policies and related to bank / business strategies.
Business
Understands the responsibility of handling the Business criticality of the application and the data sensitivities and the importance of reports.
Processes
Adhere to the company polices and process defined for the SRE team’s agreed polices , responsible for the monitoring and job runs(Monthly).
People and Talent
Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.
Risk Management
As per company standards: Related to identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks to the Group, as well as an awareness and understanding of the main risks facing the Group and the role the individual plays in managing them. For example – The ability to interpret the Group’s financial information, identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures.
Regulatory and Business Conduct
Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment].
Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association.

Our Ideal Candidate
It would be good a candidate with good knowledge in SQL, PLSQL, Datastage, BI tools, Python.
DBA knowledge and Oracle certification will be added advantage.
Good knowledge in Linux and Control-M are preferred.
