About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Learning Support Associate to join our team at Smithton High School. As a key member of the school community, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to students in the material design and technology learning area.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individualized support to students in the material design and technology learning area
Assist students with behavioural issues
Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement strategies to support student learning
Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
College or TAFE studies in health and/or education support
Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Employment) must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
