The CareSide is experiencing exciting growth and is currently seeking a dedicated Support Worker/Carer for our operations in WiIllunga, SA. As a national leader in Home Care Packages, The CareSide operates from our head office in Perth, Western Australia, with remote offices across Victoria, South Australia, New South Wales, and Queensland. We are committed to providing high-quality, affordable in-home aged care services, distinguished by our innovative approach that reduces total costs by 30% to 50% through minimal management and service fees.
The Candidate:
We are seeking an individual who is passionate about enhancing the lives of others, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be organised, punctual, friendly, reliable and genuinely caring towards clients.
The Role:
As a Support Worker/Carer in Willunga, SA you will be responsible for assisting clients with various daily activities, including showers, dressing, grooming, toileting, medication monitoring, shopping, meal preparation, housekeeping, respite care, social support, and transportation to appointments.
This role requires a carer to support a client in Willunga with companion care, transport and domestic assistance for 3 hours per week. The client is flexible with the day and prefers to start the shift in the morning.
Our clients in the area receive care most days of the week so there is the opportunity to pick up shifts on other days to build up your hours.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Certificate III or higher in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community)
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
National Police Clearance Certificate
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Registered vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
Smartphone
