About the Role
Iris Life Care is seeking passionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our growing team.
In this role, you will support people with disability in their day-to-day lives, focusing on independence, community participation, and overall wellbeing.
This is a flexible casual position, ideal for people looking for meaningful work that fits around other commitments.
Key Responsibilities
Provide assistance with daily living and personal care tasks
Support household activities, including meal preparation
Assist with community access and social participation
Encourage independence, choice, and skill development
Complete shift notes and required documentation accurately
Work collaboratively with the wider support team
Be flexible to support participants across different locations as required
What We’re Looking For
Experience in disability, aged care, or community services (preferred but not essential)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A reliable, patient, and respectful approach
Confidence using basic technology for reporting
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Availability for flexible shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays
Mandatory Requirements (or willingness to obtain)
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Card
First Aid and CPR certification
Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
Comprehensive car insurance (preferred)
