We have an exciting opportunity for FEMALE support worker to join a Brand-New Care Team in the Solihull area.

Our clients have a variety of complex care needs, our support teams enable them to live independently, and access all aspects of the community.
About The Role
A Full UK Driving Licence is essential in this role, as you would be required to drive this lady’s own vehicle. A MANUAL licence is necessary.
We are recruiting for BANK ONLY FEMALE Support Worker to work with a lady who has an Acquired Brain Injury. This lady will require support around daily living tasks and accessing the community. Personal care is also required. Experience in Acquired Brain Injury is preferable, but not essential as full training will be provided. Hobbies include baking and would wish to be supported in this. This lady is considering getting a dog, so you must be good around dogs. There are visiting children, sometimes for long periods at a time, so you must also be good around children.
About You
You will be friendly, approachable, reliable, and trustworthy. You will work well as part of a team, but also be able to use your own initiative. You will have excellent communication skills both verbally and written. You will be supporting this lady to maintain her independence and you will be observant, sensitive, and considerate. You will have a full manual driving licence and you will be comfortable around children and dogs. Being registered on the DBS update service would be beneficial.
The shift times are as follows:
You will work on a rota basis, including weekdays and weekends to cover long day shifts and a sleep-over: 24-hour shifts.
• Day shift: 8.00am till 8.00pm
• Waking night shift: 8.00pm till 10.00pm
• Sleep shift: 10.00pm till 8.00am
Non-smokers are preferred as this is a completely Non-Smoking household.
An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check will be required.
Rates of Pay: Up to £17.00 per hour. After successful completion of training and checks.
