• The Role*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at a Female Adult Mental Health hospital in Crewe, Cheshire. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of people dealing with mental health issues.
• Key Responsibilities*
• Provide high-quality, patient-centered support to women in a mental health setting.
• Assist with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and social interaction.
• Support individuals in developing and maintaining independence and life skills.
• Work closely with the nursing team to ensure each patient's care plan is effectively implemented.
• Promote a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Offer emotional support and companionship.
• Participate in regular training and professional development activities.
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and professional standards.
• Requirements*
• Experience in a mental health or care setting is essential.
• Valid PMVA/MAPA Certificate is Essential.
• Strong understanding of mental health issues and the needs of female patients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £11.70-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 60 per week
