Job Description
We are seeking a reliable, calm and caring female support worker to assist a woman in her mid-40s living with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. This is an ongoing casual role with a consistent weekly morning shift.
Start date: 12 March 2026
Training: 5 paid training sessions commencing in the next 1–2 weeks (training sessions will be shorter but more frequent)
Shift: Thursdays, 9:30 am – 2:30 pm (5 hours per week)
Rate: $43 per hour (casual)
Location: Mount Waverley, VIC – approximately a 20-minute walk from Mount Waverley Station, near the corner of Stephensons Road and Highbury Road
Role Description
The role involves providing in-home care and personal support, including:
Assistance with food preparation and eating
Lymphatic brushing
Support with washing/bathing (in a bathtub)
Light domestic duties and general household support
Requirements
Female applicants only
Physically capable – this is a hands-on role requiring strength and stamina
No current wrist, arm or shoulder injuries
Calm, patient and quiet disposition (essential due to sensitivity to sound and movement)
Responsible, reliable and respectful
Basic English comprehension is sufficient
Previous care experience preferred but not essential
