WHAT WE DO:

Our project portfolio includes:

· Legal (cadastral) surveys for subdivisions, air space subdivisions, strata, rights-of-way, easements, etc.

· Construction layout and engineering surveys

· Topographic surveys for design, permitting and special projects

· Deformation and monitoring surveys

· Geomatics surveys for higher order control networks

· Aerial mapping and spatial data processing

· Specialized coastal and foreshore surveys

Our tools include Leica GNSS receivers, robotic total stations, digital levels, scanning instruments, and RPAS. Our drafting and processing are done in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Leica Infinity, and Microsurvey.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Survey Technician to join our team. This is a field-based position with a focus on Geomatics survey projects. The role offers continued learning and advancement for those pursuing a long-term path in surveying.

We are open to candidates with varying levels of field and technical experience. Whether you’re just getting started or building on several years in the industry, we’re looking for the right individual to grow with our team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Perform field data collection using GNSS, total stations, and leveling equipment

· Interpret plans, legal survey documents, and site drawings to execute work accurately

· Collaborate with party chiefs, project managers, and CAD staff on project tasks

· Maintain accurate field notes and documentation in accordance with QA/QC protocols

· Operate and care for all assigned survey equipment

· Assist with layout and verification of construction features as required

· Upload, organize, and prepare field data for office processing

· Support plan drafting and post-processing depending on experience and interest

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Diploma or certificate in Geomatics, Surveying Technology, or a related discipline

· Field experience in legal, construction, or engineering surveys is preferred

· Familiarity with total stations, GNSS, and digital levels

· Basic understanding of survey workflows and data management

· Valid BC Driver’s License and the ability to work in a variety of outdoor conditions

· Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a willingness to learn

· Experience with Microsurvey, Civil 3D, or Leica software is an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
