Environmental Procurement Specialist
We are seeking an Environmental Procurement Specialist to join our team.
• This role will be responsible for supporting sustainable procurement initiatives and driving implementation of our company's sustainability strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:
• Support development and implementation of sustainable procurement plans in alignment with business needs and company-wide sustainability goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive adoption of sustainable procurement practices and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Analyze data and reports to track progress toward sustainability targets and make recommendations for process enhancements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to promote sustainable practices and source materials that meet environmental standards.
• Provide training and support to procurement staff on sustainable procurement best practices and company policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as environmental science, business administration, or supply chain management.
• At least 5 years of experience in procurement or sustainability, with a focus on environmental stewardship.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and develop insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, withability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to think strategically and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
