Join us today and experience Life at Visa.Job DescriptionAs a Software Engineer, you will be part of the Financial Planning & Analysis team to help design, develop and enhance financial applications in an agile development environment.?You will be part of a team performing full stack development in systems which are highly performing secure and scalable real time and batching systems. You will work on unit testing, code reviews and regular check-ins to continuous integration that will become part of your daily activities. This position is based in Bengaluru and will report to the Sr. Manager of Software Engineering.??Essential Functions?Design, implement and evolve highly scalable distributed components using functional programming paradigm using JAVA full stack technologies including but not limited to Angular, Java , Spring boot, Mysql etc. Participate in business requirements review and build functional & technical design artifacts. Collaborate in design reviews to provide input on functional/non-functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems. Work well with team members to ensure the team is predictable, productive, and delivering high quality. This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.QualificationsBasic Qualifications?Bachelors degree, OR 3 years of relevant work experiencePreferred Qualifications?Associate: 1-4 or more years of work experienceMin 1-2 years of work experience in the technology industry with coding and testing skills.Strong technical competency and experience with web applications development using Angular, Java, Spring, REST API, RDBMS(SQL/MYSQL).Good analytics and problem-solving skills with a solid foundation in algorithms, data structures, and common design patterns.Continuous Integration, Code/Test coverage working in different methodologies is a plus.Familiarity with Generative AI (GENAI) tools and frameworks within software development projects is a plus.Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.Ability to work well in a team and independently.Must have proactive and strong communications to work well across teams.?Additional InformationVisa is an EEO Employer.
