Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
The Road Sweeper/Driver Operator is responsible for maintaining the road network and keeping it clean and tidy. As well as cyclic catchpit cleaning & ensuring the plant is well presented, serviced, maintained, and operated in a professional, safe, and efficient manner that complies with all relevant legislation, regulation and policy and achieves agreed productivity and quality targets. You will also assist with general labouring duties when required. This role is based out of our Penrose, Auckland depot.
Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills
Ideally as a Road Sweeper Operator, you will have experience in maintenance and operation of Sweeper Operators or similar specialist machinery in the civil industry. You will also have:
Full Class 2 Drivers License
A great work ethic with a strong focus on Safety and Quality
Strong planning skills and the ability to deal with unexpected events and problem solve
Great communication skills with the confidence to speak up
A high level of physical fitness with the ability to carry out manual tasks
