We are looking for talented Developers and Lead Developers to work on Ciena BP Orchestration projects, contributing to next-generation network automation and orchestration.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain solutions for Ciena BP Orchestration.
• Implement TMF standards to ensure interoperability and standardization.
• Develop and manage workflows using Camunda/BPMN.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration.
• Work with asynchronous programming to enhance performance and scalability.
• Ensure adherence to best software development practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for designing and implementing solutions.
For Lead Developer: In addition to above, Guide, mentor, and oversee the development team, ensuring alignment with project goals and best practices.
Must-Have Skills
• Python - Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• TMF Standards - Hands-on experience with Tele Management Forum (TMF) standards.
• Camunda/BPMN - Experience in workflow automation and business process modelling.
• REST API - Expertise in developing, consuming, and securing RESTful APIs.
• Asynchronous Programming - Ability to write scalable, high-performance applications using async concepts.
• Software Development Experience - Proven track record in software development and best practices.
Good-to-Have Skills
• Basics of Docker/Kubernetes (K8s) - Understanding of containerization and orchestration.
• Networking Knowledge (L2/L3) - Exposure to Layer 2/Layer 3 networking concepts.
• CLI/RESTCONF/NETCONF - Working knowledge of network configuration and automation.
• Modelling Languages (Yang/TOSCA) - Experience in network/service modelling.
• GitLab CI/CD - Preferred experience with CI/CD pipelines; familiarity with other version control systems is acceptable.
