INNsight is looking for a System Administrator familiar with industry-standard practices and procedures, common security standards, and certifications.

JOB LOCATION: Ellisbridge, Ahmedabad.
Responsibilities and Duties:
At INNsight, the System Administrator will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks, such as:
• Configuring, managing, and monitoring the local network, including firewalls, routers, cabling, etc.
• Configuring, managing, and monitoring hardware assets, including workstations, PC components, office smartphones, tablets, iPhones, iPads, laptops, etc.
• Configuring, managing and keeping up-to-date software assets such as Operating systems (Linux/Ubuntu, Windows 8.1/10, Apple Mac OS, iOS), software such as Adobe CC, SVN clients, web browsers, development environments for developers, local data storage (SAN), local Owncloud, various LAMP / WAMP setups
• Configuring and maintaining workstations for developers and designers.
• Configuring and maintaining software assets for mobile devices, including Android, iOS, Mac OS, mobile apps, development frameworks, Android Studio, and emulators.
• Configuring, managing, and keeping up-to-date server software used in the Software Development Life Cycle, such as Mantis bug tracker, Project management, wiki, Google Docs
• Managing and keeping up-to-date critical business assets affecting revenue and image directly, such as AWS assets, services, and components, including OS, packages (LAMP), security, monitoring scripts (Nagios), IDS, SSL (Letsencrypt),
• Assist members of all other teams, such as design and development, wherever issues related to the above responsibilities arise.
Required Skills and Qualifications/What you should know:
Basics: Networks, Ports, Firewalls, TCP/IP, OSI Model, HTTP, SSL, TLS, Basics of Symmetric & Asymmetric Cryptography, Ubuntu 14.04-18.04, Centos 6 & 7, basic Windows 8.1 & 10 administration, Linux security, LAMP web application architecture, Apache configuration, basic MySQL tuning, basic PHP configuration settings, OWASP Top 10, Data Security.
Advanced: Python / Perl scripting, MySQL Database administration.
Regulations: PCI DSS, GDPR, industry-standard best practices.
Languages: Bash (must); Python / Perl preferred.
Required Experience /What you have done so far:
You must (compulsory) have had experience in the following:
• Assembling, maintaining, and upgrading PCs and networks.
• Maintaining LAMP web applications, including Apache, PHP, and MySQL configuration, security, and tuning.
• Writing bash scripts for complicated tasks, including monitoring server parameters.
• Reading, explaining, and preparing documentation of all related tools.
• Awareness of regulations such as PCI and GDPR.
• Using Nagios or a similar tool.
• Letsencrypt SSL.
You should (preferred) have had experience in the following:
• AWS SDK or other cloud platforms where assets are controlled by scripts.
• Python / Perl.
• Certifications are not compulsory, but demonstrable skills and the right attitude are compulsory
