• Experience with Windows servers in physical and virtualization environments, Win server 2012, 2016.
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as DNS, DHCP, Group policies, IIS, MySQL, MSSQL, Active Directory, etc.
• Strong grasp on configuration management tools, such as Plesk / cPanel / WHM
• Familiarity with load balancing, firewalls (SonicWall / Cyberoam), NAS etc.
• Proficient with network tools such as IPSEC, Windows firewall, Sys internals.
• Experience with virtualization technologies, such as Hyper-V
• Basic knowledge on MS-CRM, SharePoint, MS-Project, Skype for business server.
• Exchange server management
• Backup server, File server management, patch management.
• Ability to build and monitor services on production servers
• Knowledge of Routers and switches.
• Ability to work in a challenging and demanding mission critical infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and network equipment.
• Monitor system performance, diagnose issues, and perform necessary maintenance to optimize system functionality.
• Implement and manage backups and disaster recovery procedures.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Maintain system and network security, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to system and network configurations, policies, and procedures.
• Provide technical support and assistance to users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Plan and implement system upgrades and migrations, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with IT team members on projects and initiatives to improve and enhance IT infrastructure.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, making recommendations for system improvements and enhancements.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and/or Unix operating systems.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Experience with networking principles and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
